My very first shot with my (then) new FujiFilm X-Pro2 and XF23mm f/2 - Unfortunately it rained the 1st day, and I could do nothing but sit in my car ...
Thank YOU, JT - for NOT closing down this site (for å few days, I was afraid that you did ...) - I appreciate your effort here a,d hope that many mor FujiFilm-owners would come and join!
This was taken with X-T20 and XF50mm f/2 - but neither of them are on the list! Jorge - please add
X-T20 and
XF 50mm f/2
onto the Camera- and Lens-list!
;o)
Actually, this was taken with my new Fujifilm X-T20 ond the XF 50mm f/2 - but they are not on the list yet!
So, I had to use the X-T10 and 60mm f/2.4 instead
This is the old VOLVO P1800 - the car that became famous in the TV-Series "The Saint" starring Rodger MOORE as "Simon TEMPLAR" between 1962-1969

This is just a test of HOW the lens does with low aperture-levels - here at f/5 - and how big or little the DOF is. I made this last night for an ad in the foto.no as I am selling most of my Nikon-gear...
:o)
I made a test with the Fujinon XF 14mm f/2.8 - a phenomenal windangle-lens with very little optical DISTORTION. To test this I stiched 2 separate 14mm-exposures into 1 large panorama. As you see there is no misalignement or barrel-distortion to see - Look at the row of windows on the 2nd floor - straigth as an arrow ! Look at the diagonal of tables on the left. Very good lens. My favorite now! I just LOVE it!
:o)
These people live like the Vikings did, all summer and travel , from place to place, selling their hand-made goods and they relly take their Viking-reenactment serious!
Normally you would not tak a X-E1 with a 27mm pancake to a Rock Concert. But thats exactly what I did, because alle camera with exchangable lenses werer banned and had to be deposited at the entrance. I convinced the security-guard that my set was an "ordinary point-and-shoot compact" - and got away with it.
You would not take a X-E1 + 27mm f/2.8 pancake to å rock concert, would you? Weel, I am glad I did. Because when I arrived, I learned that ALL cameras with exchangeable lenses were BANNED inside the venue. I convinced the Security-Guard at the entrace that my X-E1 was just an ordinary compact camera - and it worked! :o) I was admittet!
I much prefer being lucky to trying to be good. This was a snap of the little show the serving folks put on every hour at Joe's Crab Shack. When I brought it up on the screen I noticed the fellow with his mouth open and the shark up above him. Well, I think it's humorous.....
Posting to show what a 1970's Canon FD 35mm f2.8 TS lens can do on the Fuji. Shot at f8.0 with about 7mm rise and no tilt. Processed from RAW in SilverEfx Pro with Fine Art preset and Red filter. A little CA near the top (shifted) but nice performance and a good value.
Taken from "The Spot" on Highway 41. No apologies for the view since the clouds were so nice. Great performance from a 1963 Canon 135mm f3.5 LTM lens on the X-Pro1.
Taken on a 2-week hiking trip in Southern Italy, September 2013. The storm came in 10 minutes later, but it was worth getting wet for this light and sky!
